A seminar for young leaders and potential change makers, organized by the Spirit of Humanity Forum, will take place on 29thMay at 13:00-16:00 in Hannesarholt, Reykjavik, Iceland.
Perhaps the world has never been in such a need for leaders that have the courage to be true to the self and committed to living by higher values. The aim of the seminar is to bring together young leaders and potential change makers that want to make a difference in their own lives and in the world. The seminar will provide practical tools for self-growth and will consist of talks, group sharing, panel discussion and guided meditation.

Mark Anthony Milton is the Founder and Executive Director of the Swiss-based foundation Education 4 Peace(E4P). Created in 2002, the Foundation works internationally to promote the integration of skills in self-awareness, listening and emotional resilience into the educational curriculum of youth, including sports education.
His earlier experiences first as a volunteer and then as director of an organization that operates hotlines for emotional support and suicide prevention and his career as a consultant specialized in communication, human relations and organizational development have greatly contributed to the work of E4P.
From 2001-2010, Mark was chairman of the International Federation of Telephone Emergency Services (IFOTES), which has 340 centers in 25 countries. He initiated many activities to promote listening skills, as well as the first international congress on the theme of Emotional Health in 2007, co-sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO).
He hasled theE4P’s groundbreaking work with international and national football federations to officially introduce self-awareness, teach listening skills and empathetic communication that pave the way for resilience and relational consciousness. He serves as an expert on the above topics for national and international sports organizations. He is the co-author of Master of your Emotions and Football, a Path to Self-Awareness.
Anna Steinsen is an awarded interactive leadership trainer, a renowned public speaker and the author of two children’s books. She has over 17 years of experience in leadership training and has trained over 5000 people in the course of her career. She is the co-owner of KVAN, an Icelandic company that teaches leadership and people skills training to people of all ages. Before KVAN, Anna was a director of the Dale Carnegie youth program in Iceland where she managed and oversaw over 14 trainers in various subjects. Anna also has an extensive experience in leadership coaching for large, multinational companies in Europe, North America and Asia, such as BMW, Maersk and Deloitte.
Anna is a certified Dale Carnegie group, – HIP, – and Master trainer as well as a certified BMW group trainer. She holds a B.A. degree in Leisure and Social Studies from the University of Iceland and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field. She is also a certified life coach from the Institute of Intergrative Nutrition and a licensed Kundalini Yoga teacher.
Representatives from “Leading from within” – experiment for young leaders initiated by Lotushus, Brahma Kumaris, Iceland.Since last autumn groups of young Icelandic leaders have been experimenting with applying inner powers in everyday life, such as “The Power to Recharge the self”, “The Power of Tolerance”, “The Power of Decision-Making” and more. They will share their valuable experiences in a panel at the seminar.
