The Forum Programme
The Forum begins on the afternoon of Thursday, 8th May, with a reception hosted by the Mayor of Reykjavik at City Hall. Following the reception, the Spirit of Humanity Forum will provide buses to transport participants to Hotel Örk in the town of Hveragerdi (about 45 minutes away from Reykjavik).
The Forum programme (9th—11th May) will include high-level panels, intergenerational dialogue groups, shared moments in silent contemplation, and time for personal reflection. Additionally, guided walks in the beautiful natural surroundings and cultural activities will enrich the experience.
The Forum will conclude before lunch on Sunday, 11th May. On Sunday afternoon, a public event will be held in downtown Reykjavik to share the spirit of the SoH Forum with the Icelandic community. We warmly invite you to attend if you are able.

Early arrival or longer stay
If you wish to arrive earlier than 8th May or stay longer than 11th May at Hotel Örk, you must book those nights separately. The discount offered applies during the Forum only.
Transport between Reykjavik and Hveragerdi on the 8th and 11th May
The Forum will provide buses after the opening reception at Reykjavík City Hall to Hotel Örk in Hveragerði and from the hotel back to the centre of Reykjavík after the closure of the Forum on Sunday.
Please note that travel between Keflavik Airport and Hotel Örk needs a rented car or taxi (over a 1-hour drive). Airport buses go to and from Reykjavik only. It is more practical to stay extra days in Reykjavik before or after the Forum unless you plan to travel elsewhere in Iceland.
