Carolin Fraude works for the transdisciplinary research group `A Mindset for the Anthropocene´ at the IASS Potsdam. She holds a Diploma in Education Science and studied philosophy, social science and psychology at the Free University Berlin. Her research interests include designing processes and spaces engaging with people’s beliefs, values, worldviews, and intentions, understood as leverage points for transformation towards a sustainable society. Since ´98 Carolin practices Raja Yoga meditation. She co-leads the Brahma Kumaris Center in Berlin. Since 2013 she is a delegate to UN conferences such as the Commission on the Status of Women and UN Climate Change Conferences.

A reflection on the theme: 'Towards a Loving World, Leadership and Governance for Well-Being'.

In a time in which societies are shaken and threatened by global challenges such as climate change, the COVID pandemic or increasing populism, strong, global communities are extremely important. For this we need to create a culture of love and compassion and show genuine leadership towards it.
