A reflection on the theme: 'Towards a Loving World, Leadership and Governance for Well-Being'.

The Spirit of Humanity Forum's theme for 2021 is poignant and highly pertinent at this time when humanity is reeling from the devastating consequences of COVID, while also facing spiralling inequality, violent conflicts, rising nationalism, authoritarianism and extremism. Yet, our experience shows us that it is in the midst of crisis that transformation appears most elusive and yet is most possible to achieve. The SoH Forum is a rousing call for us to share and align our efforts to create a loving world; to ensure that the paramount purpose of leadership and governance is to secure the well being of all life. The time has come for the power of love to replace the love of power.
