Carolin Fraude is an educational scientist specialised in designing transformative learning and transdisciplinary research experiments. At RIFS Potsdam, she initiated and led the “Co-creative Reflection and Dialogue Space” at the UN Climate Change Conferences, which ran for six years as part of the research project “Transformative Spaces and Mindsets”. Drawing on a relational understanding of transformation, her work focuses on fostering inner development by convening authentic engagement in safe spaces and shifting prevailing communication cultures. Carolin has co-authored publications on transformative communication engagements for empowering climate action, highlighting the importance of addressing individuals’ beliefs, values, and worldviews. These are understood as leverage points for transformation towards a sustainable society.
Transformation becomes possible when we meet ourselves, each other, and the divine with honesty — not trying to prove anything, but staying present and transparent with what is. As we navigate profound global shifts, it’s vital to learn how to let go without giving up. In this space, new awareness and true connection can emerge.
