In the past, great social movements arose when new insights inspired and informed communities, and re-formed their ways of living and working: buddha, sangha, dharma; head, heart, hands. Are we able to tell a new story of human progress?  Have we found forms of practice that support a deepening sense of connectedness and reverence for the other than the human world? To those who already have the story, who are being changed by it, and whose work expresses it, falls the responsibility to give voice to this hope: the hope for a new humanity.
