Halla Tómasdóttir has served as President of Iceland since August 1st in 2024. A renowned entrepreneur and advocate for values-based leadership, she has long championed gender equality, sustainability, and courageous governance. Before her presidency, Halla led The B Team, a global nonprofit promoting responsible business practices, and co-founded Auður Capital, a pioneering investment firm that integrated feminine values into finance. Earlier in her career, she was the first female CEO of the Iceland Chamber of Commerce and a member of the founding team of Reykjavik University.  
 
In 2023, Halla published her first book titled Courage to lead change and shortly after she became president, she initiated the movement Knights of Love to help respond to rising violence and diminishing mental health with compassion and care for self and others.
