Cat in a sack

Have you ever witnessed a cat trapped in a sack? It thrashes wildly in panic. The sack rolls around, jumps and flips. It is an increible sight.

But the same thing happens to us when we find ourselves in unexpected and frightening situations that we do not understand. We react so strongly to our immediate sensory impressions that there is no room for reflection. We tear around with questions, doubts and wild assumptions.

Life is a play. Every situation is a scene with a beginning, a middle and an end. Each actor has his own role. Practice seeing things a little bit from a distance and it will suddenly be easier to maintain more calm, think clearly and find solutions. A sense of humor is very good type of glasses to wear for creating a healthy distance. Both to yourself and to the theater of life.
